Nanga Damai is situated at Damai on
the Santubong peninsula, on the steeply sloping foothills of Mount Santubong (903m), approximately 33
km from Kuching. The house is right at the very edge of the Sarawak rainforest, and is surrounded by dense
primary jungle on three sides. The front of the house overlooks the South
China Sea, with panoramic views of the mountains of Southwest
Sarawak.
We are about 20 minutes walk from the beach resorts of Damai and the
Sarawak Cultural Village, and about 5 minutes drive from the Damai Golf
Club, and 10 minutes drive from the seafood restaurants of Buntal village.
The easiest way to reach us is by Taxi, although you may have to ask the
driver to give us a call (019-8871017) as not every taxi driver knows our
location. Alternatively you can take the Damai shuttle bus from the Holiday
Inn or Crowne
Plaza hotels in
Kuching. Or you can give us a call yourself – if we are in Kuching we
will happily pick you up.
If you still have trouble finding
us, our entrance road is on the right, 5 lampposts after the two blocks of
condominiums, just past Dayang Seafood.
