The Ranee Margaret
Room
The
Ranee Margaret room is named for Ranee Margaret Brooke (nee De Windt), wife
of Sir Charles Brooke and first Ranee of Sarawak. A prolific writer, her
experiences in Sarawak are documented in
two remarkable autobiographies.
The Ranee Margaret room features a queen-size bed, attached bathroom with
shower, satellite TV, telephone, fridge and air conditioning. Although
somewhat smaller than our other rooms, the Ranee Margaret room has a large
private sun deck overlooking the South China Sea.
